Warm cozy blankets that turn into backpacks!

…I mean, really met it?

Because if you have then you know that EVERYONE needs one.

It’s kind of hard to convince people of that in the heat of the summer…but summer doesn’t last forever baby, and it’s time to snuggle!

There’s a few things that I think you should know about our minkies (in no particular order):

  1. They’re quilted. That’s right, it was very important to this grandma that these aren’t just blankets, they’re quilts.
  2. They are minkie on both sides. The softest minkie you could imagine. Which is why we call them minkies…but also, all of our products end in “ie”…soooo…we’re pretty clever like that.
  3. They are weighted. Because they are made with 5 yards of heavy fabric and a good batting, they naturally fall into the weighted blanket category for children. Weighted blankets many benefits for kids including both sleep and anxiety-reducing benefits!
  4. They are twin-size. They will fit on your child’s twin-size bed perfectly and will quickly become their favorite quilt!
  5. They fold into a backpack. Quilts that fold into pillows isn’t new…if you didn’t know, it’s called a quillow. BUT, a quillow with straps and mini pockets perfect for sleepovers at grandma’s? Now THAT, we’re pretty sure is new..

Though our minkies are perfect for a twin-size bed, they turn into backpacks because they are meant to be on the move! Here’s a few ways we love to use our minkie adventure backpacks.

  1. The Movies. We have been bringing blankets to the movies for a long time now and these backpacks are so convenient! We don’t condone it…but they’re also perfect for sneaking in a few little snickety snacks!
  2. Camping. These blankets are perfect for camping because they are so warm and cozy!
  3. Road trips. With a pocket for the feet – or turn it around to hold all your toys/snacks/coloring books – this quilt is a great car companion!
  4. Reading Day at School. My kids love to take their blanket bags to school for reading days. They can use it as either a blanket or a pillow!
  5. Sleepover’s at Grandma’s house. I save the best for last because this is the real reason we wanted these quilts to be on-the-go. Get those kiddos to grandma so she can load them up with sugar, keep them up too late and send them home because the tantrums hit!

If you still aren’t convinced…head to amazon where we have a few on sale. And then you can see for yourself and leave us a review!!

Also, if you are going on a road trip…bring this FREE coloring sheet for an extra car to-do!
